Blackathon is a hackathon for the African Diaspora. It is an ecosystem that encourages people of the African Diaspora to use technology to solve problems in our community.
Requirements
To submit your project for the hackathon you must provide the following:
- A short description describing your project
- A pitch deck of no more than 10 slides describing the problem, the target audience and your solution. You may also include any research or statistics you found that describe the problem you are trying to solve.
- A link to your github repository where your code is stored
- A recorded video presentation of your slideshow and demo of your project if applicable.

Presentation
How well was the project presented? Did it make the hack more compelling? Did it clearly articulate its purpose and impact? (Rate 1-5) -
Learning
Did the team stretch themselves? Did they try to learn something new? (Rate 1-5) -
Adherence to Theme
Does the hack adhere to the event's theme? Does it adhere to the chosen problem area they chose? Does it implement that theme fully or just partially? (Rate 1-5)
